Simple and Quick is the Key

Another quick, easy & simple card today. I am running out of cards to gift so I needed more of these clean and simple cards. I have been busy coloring as well so a few more cards with images colored with Copics will be posted soon. Mostly will be Magnolia-licious stamps, Elizabeth Bell, maybe some Sarah Kay. I’ve had this stamps for a very long time, possibly ever since I started using stamps to create my cards, and more so when I found Copics. Stampin up supplies: cardstock, classic label punch. The green brad is from my stash. It is a given I always use my handy dandy Scotch ATG 714. I go through a lot of these refill tapes and they can get a bit expensive. I go to Micheal’s to buy them only when there is a 50% coupon. I do have a warehouse I buy them form when needed, but I had recently a bad experience with one of their sales rep on the phone & I cannot get myself to go back and buy form them. I just can’t beleive that a person could be so rude over the phone to a client and not even apologise. I have been a customer of this store for a longest time & was just so surprised by the rudeness. Anyways, I might go back & buy products from them if it is really necesseary & I don’t have any other way to work around it. I guess, to tell you the truth this is not the first exeprience I have for unsatisfactory attitude from stores I buy my supplies from.

On that note, I wouldn’t mind if you would comment on this experience and suggest what cna or should I do. It would be appreciated. Thank you for coming today.

Stitched Birthday Wishes

Another quick and easy card for today. I wanted to create something nice as birthday gifts. I love giving homemade cards to my friends and co-workers. I usually give a package of 3 to 4 cards to someone celebrating a birthday, with a homemade card usually a 3×3 card to accompany the gift. It is always a delight to see their faces when they receive the gift. I know 3 or 4 cards isn’t much, but it works for me. The package usually includes one that hasan image colored with Copics. Sometimes just regular quick and easy cards for everyday giving.

The paper is Wild Rose Studio called Butterfly Garden. I still have quite a bit to use. The sentiment is from C.C. Design Birthday Wishes stamp set. I used Stampin Up stitched framelits circle dies & layering circle dies. Thank you for visiting today. Have a good weekend.

Today’s card is very simple. Just add layers to all pieces and there you have it,, simple and clean. I used 6 x 6 paper pack from Wild Rose Studio called Butterfly Garden, Stampin up cardstock. I created cards in this sketch, my Misti tool sure made it easy. It helps with lining and centering a stamp sentiment or image and it goes very quick. I have my stamparatus and hope to use that soon. I can’t wait to use it on one of the two step stamp set.

Another Maggie card here.  If you have been reading my blog, you already know I love my Maggie’s.  I still the very first stamp I bought.  I believe I also said I will never ever get rid of any of my Maggie stamps.

The paper is from Wild Rose Studio called Butterfly Garden.  I don’t remember how long I’ve had this paper pad.  Absolutely love the designs.  I used stampin up cardstock & punch. I colored little Maggie with Copics of course. Thank you for coming by.  There will be a few Maggie cards posts coming.  Hope you will visit again.

Here is a picture of one Christmas Card design I created for December 2017  I used my Cricut to cut the Joy sentiments and the label shape.  I used Stampin Up cardstock & some Old Christmas Paper in my stash.  I had a few 2″ ribbon spools.  I use them to give texture to mu card.  I also used embossing folder for texture.   This card was very easy to make;.  I was able to cut a few at a time using my Cricut machine.  I love my cricut machine.  I also have the Silhoette Cameo , however I am more familair with my Cricut machine & have not used it at all.  I might have started to read how to use my Silhoutte but it was too much work :) Thank you for coming today. I have probably more Christmas stuff to share..Come and visit me again.
