About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Anything Card

I was going for a clean and simple card, however this is what I came up with. The image is form Whiff of Joy old images by Elizabeth Bell.  Simple and easy I think.  The only focus is on the image.  No sentiment again.  Just a card ready for anything.  One of my anything card    I mentioned in my previous posts that I like to create cards ready for any occasion.  I don’t usually place any sentiment on the front.  The inside of my cards are usually blank.  I have a few sentiments and greetings ready on hand.  The greetings are created on my computer and ready for cutting.  The sentiments available on hand are already stamped and ready for sticking on the front.  There will be different ones, and different sizes and shapes.  I thought to share how I have my cards ready for anything that I would need on short notice.  I also get asked from work, friends and relatives if I have anything ready for a specific occasion.  Well, sometimes I am able to help them out, sometimes I think I do and when I look in my stash, there is none that would be suficient for the occasion they need.  This is why I create anything card and have sentiments and greetings ready on such situations.  I hope you got ideas from this post.  Have a good day and thanks for visiting.

Keep your creativity flowing,
