About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

What? Christmas????

Yes, here we are first week of November 2015.  Where did the year go?  I had too much going this year that I din’t realize it is going, going and soon to be gone. Well here is my one of my xmas card this year.  I created one similar to these last year as well.  I love this image.  Same image, a different card layout, but still easy to make.  The small doily is from Stampin Up I thought it gave it a different look. The papers are from my stash.  I used my copics to color the images stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Xpres It paper.  Fuszzy cut the image on one of the cards.  Fuzzy cutting isn’t a favorite of mine.  Once in while I will do what I need to do :). Sentiments are from Amy R Stamps.

You probably notice I always use stuff from my stash.  I really like using my stash because I want to get more current/newer release.  But I told myself I don’t need any papers since I have a few already.  I will buy new stamps or die cuts, but not so much with papers.  The cards turned out cute.  That’s it for today.  Off to make more xmas cards.

Thank you for coming. Keep your creativity flowing.
