About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Scrappy Bowl Challenge # 1 – Gridiron Grudge Match

It’s been a while, yes I know.  I am glad to be posting again.  Her goes:

I started this after the super bowl but then due to pain from root canal, couldn’t finish till today.  I was wondering if I could actually join the challenge or miss it.  Well, here I am and it is 6 pm..  I used a heart stamp but it didn’t have the name on it or who maade it. It only have K1619  whatever that means..  I used the grid I got for my pergamano set.  The middle of the card is individually pricked with a needle.  I used Archival Brillance Moonlight White ink to stamp the image and used an embosser pen to lightly draw the stamp image on clear vellum, making sure that the ink was dry. I stamped and cut out butterflies from Stampin up Precious Butterflies.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks.  I used heart shaped spellbinder to cut a window and that is it.  I had fun.  This is my first Super Bowl Challenge.  I am glad to be able to join.  Here is a picture before the card was made.

Thank you for visiting,  Keep your creativity flowing..
