About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Penny Black Christmas

This is one of the cards I made as  a sample for the copic class I taught today at Sweet Sentiments.  I used 3 different Penny Black Stamps.  I used My Minds eye & Fancy Pants designer papers.   Tim Holtz distress inks.  Some shiny brown pearls.  The copic colors I used were:  b25; E000, E00; E 25, YR23, R29; R20; R85; R0000; YG67; BG0000; & Colorless Blender.  The poinsettias are from Micheals.  I sprinkled a little bit of glitter on the poinsettia’s.

Another Penny Black x-mas stamp.  Another easel card.  The paper are from Fancy pants and Basic Grey.  The cyrstals were clear. I colored them with R59.  Also used E000; E00& lots of Blender 0. I used teh Martha Stewart heart border punch to accent the inside of the card.

This is the 3rd image we used for the class.  I didn’t do a lot of blending in this image.  I used  Fancy Pants & Basic Grey papers. Copics used E25; E37;YR23; YG67. I made the sentiment on mycomputer.  All images were stamped on Simply Smooth Bazill white cardstock.  Thanks for visiting . Hoping you will visit again.
