About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

A card & where I’ve been

I am still here.  I have not been feeling very well the last few weeks and last Saturday April 10th, I had surgery, nothing serious.  I am on the mend and looking forward to playing again.  I think, I can hear my Maggie’s calling me.  :)

Since, I wasn’t able to play, I watched you tube videos a lot. All I can say is  WOW!!! There is a lot of talented people out there.  I really like the mini albums that everyone has been making.  And the tags, so beautiful tags.  I kept wondering,  how I can  use my Maggie’s in the mini’s and tags.  I will have to try something out and if  I do,  I will share them here.

On to this easel card here.  I made this for a friend and co-worker a while back.  Papers and cardstock are mostly Stampin Up.  The image is stamped on Canson 150 lb Manga Drawing paper and colored with Copics.  I made the sentiments on my computer. I really enjoy doing that.  I also used Stampin Up punches.  I used one of my crocheted flowers and some red brads.  This is all for now.  I hope to be back to posting at least once a week, more if I can. Thank you for visiting.
