About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

WOJ Sketch

I  made this card using the sketch from WOJ Inspirations& Tutorial Blog.  I found the sketch just the right one for a card  I needed to make for a birthday card.  I used musing Melinda stamp.  I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored her with Copics.  I used Sakura Clear Jellyroll pen to give a little sparkle to her bracelet,  hair tie and wings.  I was so in hurry to get the card done in time that I did not take note of the Copic colors used.  I used my fancy label nesties for the top of the circle.   The paper, card stock and ribbon are all CTMH.  The sentiment I created in my computer.  Also used MS heart border punch.  This card I am entering  for the Totally Gorjuss challenge to use ribbons.  Since I used Copics I am also entering this card at Little Red Wagon.  Another short post for today.  I just wanted to share with you what I created for this week.  I promised myself no matter how busy I am, I will always make time no matter how short to create.  I did not have much time this week either due to a very bad migraine.  I wish you all never to experience one of these, though I know some of you might already have, then I think you can relate.  Thank you all for visiting me today.  Keep your creativity flowing.
