About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Spring Wishes

I am happy how this card turned out. I have never used Liquid Pearls before and wasn’t so sure about it. I just put a dab on the roses. I have to find out more how to use them. I am pretty sure there will be lots out there. Maybe you can refer me to sites or give me some ideas. I would really appreciate that.

The image is WOJ Melinda with Bouquet. I stamped her using memento ink on Wausau Bright White cardstock and colored her with Copics. Paper and colored cardstock are all from Stampin up. I used flowers and metal brads from my stash. The pearls are from hero arts. Also used EK success swirl punch and nesties. I used my sewing machine to show actual stitching on the yellow cardstock. I used my white gel pen for the faux stitching. The sentiment is digital punched out with Stampin up modern label punch. I am entering this card to a few challenges this week.
