About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

First Valentine

I will  have two cards to share today.  First, my BIL asked me to make a card for valentines with the intention of giving it to his wife of course, my sister :)  He did not give me anything to work on, just that he wanted it to be for Valentines.  Well, I thought about this two Magnolia-licious images.  I got some new stamps from CTMH with the big key and lucky for me, it is just the right size for Tilda & Edwin to sit on.  I embossed the key with copper embossing powder.   Of course, it is another easel card. Stamps are from Magnolia-icious and CTMH.  Cardstock and ink from Stampin up. Paper and sentiments from CTMH. The love charm is from Michaels.   I used black memento ink and colored the images with Copics. Colors used shown below.

I am entering this card for these challenges.  Most challenges seem to be geared to the “L” word.

Just Magnolia – LOVE

Lots to do – Love is in the air

Polka Doodles – hearts and flowers,  I have hearts behind the image, heart word, heart shape key handle :)

Totally Gorjuss–  love

The Pixie Cottage– love

ABC Challenge– N for new,  new stamp set CTMH E1012 Key to my heart.

Cute Card Thursday– In the name of Love

Secret Crafter– multi-fold

I thank each one of you for coming to  visit.  All of you are my inspiration. Come back later I will have another card to share with you.  “Happy Valentine’s Day to you all.”
