About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Spring Wishes

Canada would usually have cold weather in January.  Recently, it has been very mild,  to me anyways. Almost like Spring , not like my previous January’s living here.   I am not complaining, we didn’t have that much snow this year. I guess winter is not over yet so maybe I should not put a period to this thought,  but I can have wishful thinking right  :)

needed to make a birthday card and thought I should make something with spring colors.    Saturday Spotlight’s challenge this week gave me that inspiration.  This card is what I came up with. Another easel card.   I used Melinda with bouquet  and  the background from Elisabeth Bell Accessories & Sentiments Collection.  Both stamps from Whiff of Joy.  Used Copics to color everything.   Papers used are from Basic Gray, Daisy Bucket Designs, Stampin’ Up & Creating Keepsakes.  Ribbon is from my stash.  I used my Nesties Labels 4 and 8 for some dimension, also used foam dots to center Melinda.  This card is for challenges:

Totally Gorjuss–   dimension

Saturday Spotlight–  Let the sunshine In

Charisma Cardz  –  Fruity Colors

A Spoon Full fo Sugar–  Layering

Incy Wincy –  Colour me Wnderful, use your favorite coloring medium.

Cute Card Thursday– fairy

This is it for today.  Thank you for taking the time to visit me today.  It is truly appreciated.
