Don’t you guys just love this adorable cutesies!!!. I wanted to make something special to give to friends and family for birthdays. I wanted something I can make quickly and easily. I also wanted to be able to make a lot so that I have them available when needed. Then, I thought of these beauties. They are all 3 x 3 card base and I use them as a birhtday cards. Of course they can be used whatever you want them to be I usually attach 2 to 3 cards(sometimes more) that I personally made as birthday presents. Anyone I have given these to is always delighted, and who could resist the charms of our dear Maggie and Edwin. I sometimes put these in envelopes but most of the time not. The cards are on top of the other cards(gift) & I tie them togehter either with twine or ribbon. Its been fun making these. I am running out so I have a few Maggies/Edwins colored and will be making more. These are very good as it doens’t use a lot of materials. I basically use all my small scraps.
All are stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Inc and colored with Copics. As I mentioned above, I used mostly scraps for cardstock and designer paper. I usually use Stampin Up, CTMH, Bazzill for cardstock and designer paper. I also used My minds eye and K&C Co. Spellbinders works really well and any square or circle punches. The possiblities are endless. You can also use scallops are base or even cicle shaped ones;-). I hope you I inspired you to make your own. Thank you for visiting.
Keep you creativity flowing,

A friend of mine requested for me to make her a card for a wedding she is going to on Saturday. She asked me this on Wednesday. I didn’t really have much time, I wanted it done by Thursday and I wanted to work on my quilts to finish them. Well, this is the result. I looks better then in the picture. I was worried because I didn’t call to confirm the colors for the wedding. I am glad I got it right. She liked it too I have to learn how to tek good pictures. Used Memento Tuxedo Black Inc to stamp the image on nennah cardstock. The cardstock is stampin up and the paper is DCWV. Some organza ribbon and heart charm I bought from Michael’s. I used the heart Spellbinder as background for the newly weds. It looks like there isn’t a lot of colors here, but I used a lot of copics in this image: C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, E0000, E000, E00, E25, R20, R81, R85, YR23, E71, YG63, W00, W1, W3, W5, B52, B45, BG10, BG0000 and blender.
Thanks for visiting!!!

This is the card I made for my son when he graduated high school in June 2011. He is now at Western University starting his own journey. I am sorry, I don’t have the copic colors for this one. I uxedo Black Ink to stamp the image. CTMH papers and cardstock. Stampin up sentiments. The stars I believe are from scrapworks shimmer shapes. I wrote a poem entitled “Letting Go” for my son as follows:
Letting Go
by Femy Gray
How do I prepare myself?
Where do I begin and start?
Even now I feel this great pain,
I really need all the help I can gain.
How do I let go?
Of someone I hold so dear
I didn’t realize that it is so near
You soon will have to leave my dear.
No matter what the reason,
I can’t help the ache I feel
Letting go is hard to deal
I can’t see a future to heal
You soon will have to leave my son
To start your own journey
To make your own life story
While all I have is memories
No matter how much I prepare
I end up losing this battle
‘Coz all I do is cry and
To admit I can’t let go I shouldn’t dare.
I don’t want to be a burden
It’s not like this is so sudden
So give me a hug and go
Don’t forget that I love you so!
My blessings are always with you
I can’t believe it is so hard to part
I should have known this right from the start.
I can’t believe I am letting go of your hand
Go now my son and make your stand
Please remember to call or text me from the start
So it eases the pain right here in my heart.

Hello everyone!!! I know it’s been a long time I know. I just have been busy & one thing I always think is that we don’t have enough time to do everything we want in the day. Having a full time job also doesn’t help but it does help with finances I know everyone will agree. Anyways, I have been busy creating as well. Most of the time, I give my cards away before I can even take a picture. I do have some I can share.
First and foremost I am a quilter and that is what I have been doing. I missed sewing and I could my embroidery machine yelling that I am ignoring herJ. Every time, I made a card I would sometimes include some stitching for extra texture but I felt I needed to make another quilt. I like to make small quilts as I can finish them pretty quickly. I also like to make wall hangings. For the next few days, I will share what I have done, and current projects.
I have a Copic class on Sunday and here are the cards I prepared for it. It turned out good. I used Penny Black Christmas with Mimi and Winter Wonders. The Tree is Magnolialicious Stamp. I used Bazzill Cardstock, and basic grey paper. I also used some silver paper on the ground to look like ice. It doesn’t show on the picture very well. I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I used liquid applique on Mimi’s hat, snowballs and some on the tree. some spellbinders was used as well. The colors used were: 001, E0000, E000, E13, E17, E25, E99, BG96, BG93, B24, R20,R24, R27, R29, R39, R89, YG99, YR23,T3,W3, Y15 AND Colorless blender. Here are the cards below.

Here is a picture of one the quilts I am trying to finish. I am also trying to finish a table runner for xmas

Thank you for visiting. I will have another show and tell tomorrow. More pictures and less words.

Another one for my class this month. This one is a little easier than the previous one. Papers are from Bo Bunny, Bazill Cardstock. Stamping up ink, stamps(Penny Black, Stampin up & CTMH), MS lace border punch, Butterflies Two Spellbinder and some clear gelly roll pen. Here is the side view:
Seem, oretty easy right. I used one piece of designer paper for the front, while the previous one I used 2 different designer papers and here it is when flat.

The next card I made for the previous copic class. I got my new Embossing folders from Integrity Designs and wanted to use it. This one is from craft concepts called Fluterby. Very simple card but I liked the results. I used some clear gelly roll pen and pearls to bling it up a bit.

Thanks for looking everyone. Please come again.
Keep your creativity flowing,
