About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Another card I created with the Simply Sketched stamp set.  I shaded the oval shape with  elelgant eggplant ink. I used Stampin Up supplies for ink, cardstock, big shot.  The oval scallop die is Spellbinders,  The stamp the image on watercolor paper.  Short & brief today.

Here is my post today.  The image is one of Stampin Up’s old Hostess stamp set called Simply Sketched.  I love this stamp set, that is why I kept it.  I cannotn remember the year this was available.  I just couldn’t get rid of this one.  I created two cards with different colors.  I used Stampin Up stitched framelits & Spellbinders oval die.   I colored the image with Stampin Up inks using Aqua painters. I also used duet banner punch from Stampin Up. Both embossing folder are Stampin Up. Hope you like it.  Thans for visiting

Another birthday card for today.  I will be creating a lot more birthday cards.  As I said from my previous post I seem to be running out of birthday cards quickly.  I also like to give them as birthday gifts to friends & co-workers. I seem to have a few orders for birthday cards this month. So I am going to be making a lot of birthday cards for next few weeks.

The image on this card is one I found in my stash. All done & ready for me to create a card.  The above image is the result for my creativity today. Simple & quick, Just what I like.  I don’t remember where this stamp came from & when I actually made this.  The image is embossed in white & looks like it is colored with pens.  I would imagine I used Copics to color this image. The cardstock, ribbon & the sentiment is from stampin up.  I used cuttlebug embossing folder to create more texture.  There it is.  Thankd for dropping by.  Come again.

I wanted to use this old stamp from Whiff of Joy by Elizabeth Bell.  I seem to run out of birthday cards all the time. Here is my card.  The papers are from my stash.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink  and  colored the image with Copics. The cardstock, ribbon the oval stitched framelits (inside of card) is from stampin up.  Used circle scallop spellbinders.  Very easy & quick to make.  Thank you for visiting.
