About Me

My name is Femy. I work full time as a government employee. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my husband Rick and 2 kids Chelson and Jared and of course our 2 cats cuddles and skip. I love to create. I love to quilt, machine embroidery, cross stitch and card making, beading. I also like to write poems, short and longs ones :). Sometime in 2008, I was introduced to rubber stamps. I’ve been making cards for a while but have never used stamps before. I was also introduced to markers called Copics and started using them May 2009. Now I am hooked. So here in this place I call my own, I will share with you what I create and hope I inspire you to do a little creating yourself.

Here is my next set of one sheet wonder.  This time I created a Christmas theme.  Most of the sentiments and images are Stampin Up.  I use a couple Magnolia-licious images.  Colored them with Copics.  I used DCWV Christmas papers and Stampin Up cardstock.  Come visit again for my next set of one sheet wonder.

I am currently in the mood for creating one sheet wonder. I found this watching youtube videos by Deb Valder. I loved the simplicity of the cuts and that it makes 6 cards. I found another video from The Paper Jungle and also liked the cards she made with the same cuts. I will be creating a few sets of these to use up my old designer papers. I will be using them as gifts. There will be 6 cards per gift. Could be a Thank you gift. A hostess gift or just because. I will be creating a few of these & I will be giving them away as fast as I can make them. I try to make the card suitable for for masculine/baby/child/teen/woman in one se whenever I can. Sometime it doesn’t work due to the paper but it I do what I can. For this set, all sentiments, silver brads, cardstock are Stampin Up. I used memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiments & images. This project was so quick and easy. I know I will be making more. Hope you will try the one sheet wonder. Thank you for coming today. Please visit again.

I created this album for a friend for her granddaughter’s birthday. I used MFT’s Mermazing stamps & matching dies. Stamp the images using Memento Black & colored them with Copics. I used Bella Blvd’s Secrets of the Sea paper collection, stickers, & ephemera. I loved creating this album. It is a 6 x 7 mini album. I added some of my baby themed project life cards for journaling. Again I forgot to take a picture of the final product. I placed her granddaughter’s name on the bottom left hand corner using rub ons. Thank you for visiting.

A co-worker is getting marrried in September. This is the card I came up with. I matched the colors in the card for her wedding colors. I used Copic to color my images. Used Stampin Up supplies, materials and tools. The heart charm and the designer paper I got from Micheal’s. The ribbon is from my stash. Thank you visiting today. Have fun crafting.

Feather, Pearls and Flower

Something different for me.  I have a few copic colored images ready for a card.  I wanted to create something different.  I made this flower from taffeta material.  I have lots of fabric scraps I really didn’t want to throw away. I created ? out of fabric scraps.  I like the flowers but didn’t know what to use them for.  Here is one of them.  I added some feathers and pearls to complete the design.  I don’t usually make 6 by 6 cards,  somehow this design just didn’t look good in a smaller size card. No sentiment on the card, then I can use it for any occasion.

Try something new once in a while & think of something you can create out of scraps(fabric, paper, etc.)

Keep your creativity flowing.
